New House - New Craft Area

Hi All, Just thought I would quickly post a pic of my corner of our converted garage - which is now my Craft Area.  Hubby is going to put a false wall in to cover the roller door which will be nice. I can't believe that I still haven't unpacked everything from my old room, but I was just busting to play and couldn't wait any longer.

Sympathy Cards

More sympathy cards - it seems to be all that I make these days!  Mind you making them is a lot easier than having to write in them!

The top card is my own design made using the 1384LI Birdhouse stamp and the discontinued Castaway Paper pack. I actually made this card for a challenge - but thought it would be suitable to send to an older man that has just lost his wife.
The second card is one of the sample cards from the 2926 Card Making Kit - Vintage Pearls which is featured on page 229 of the lateste Kaszazz Catalogue.  I am not overly happy with the darkness of my inked images - if I made this card again - I would go with a more subtle colour like Charcoal Fluid Chalk or maybe even my all time favourite Chocolate Ancient Page.

Welcome Card

Hi All, Just thought I would quickly share the gorgeous card I received from Michelle wishing us a warm welcome into our new house.  The vine stamp at the bottom has been covered with ice stickles - marking it a very sparkly card.  I love it!

Cricut Dust Covers

Just thought I would post a couple of photos of the Cricut Dust Covers that I made for my friends and family as Christmas presents. Typical me left these to the last minute (ie - after Christmas) thinking they would be hard to make - but they are really simple and so quick to whip up.
It is amazing the amount of dust that can collect on your bug!

Pinkie's Cow Cover

Vanessa's Bright Flying Kites Cover
(Wonder if she has figured out what the cover is for yet?)

Mum's Owl Cover

I also made one for myself - I just haven't gotten around to taking a photo of it yet - but it is a hot pink colour with turtles on it and matches my coffee cup coaster I made for a Ridgecrest Scrapbooking Camp.

If anybody is interested - I sell these baby bug covers for $10 inc. postage.

More Christmas Cards!

Hi All.  Just thought you might like to see the handmade Christmas Cards that my Mum received this year from some of my downlines.

Another stunning creation from Pinkie.

Vanessa's sparkling creation. (This is a white card - hence no border)

This one was from Robbie who is also a dear family friend.

Hope you get some ideas for this year's Christmas Cards - nothing like starting early??? LOL

Happy New Year!

To all my lovely blog readers out there a very belated Merry Christmas and all my wishes for a very Happy and Safe New Year!
We headed down to the Jetty last night to watch the NYE fire works on the beach - it was just spectactular - but the highlight had to be watching Will walk in the sand for the first time.
We are starting to settle into our new home nicely - my craft room is semi unpacked - but not enough to do any crafting.  So in the mean time, I thought I would show you all the wonderful hand made Christmas Cards that we received.  Enjoy!

My dear friend and Kaszazz downline Pinkie's card which was the first Christmas card we got in our new home! 100% Kaszazz too!

I received this one from a very good customer and now dear friend Michelle!

Braydon's Aunty Deb sent this one - I always hang out for her cards in the mail.

Another dear friend Karen sent me this one - I love the unusal non traditional Chrismtas colours!

And last but not least, I got this one from a very old and dear friend Carolyn who is also one of my downlines.

As you can see, I have some very talented friends and relatives.  Looking at these cards make me feel very slack, as I didn't get time to make any last year - but watch out for this years!!!!!!
