MCS - Shaped Card Challenge

Hi Everybody!

I love it when you need to make a card and you can work it into a challenge! This time My Craft Spot is having a Shaped Card Challenge and I needed a card to send to my Mum who is currently in Hospital.

This was a first for me - usually I make rectangle cards with the occasional square one thrown in here or there. So looking through my Cricut Cartridges - I stumbled across Wild Card which featured a beautiful scallop circle card. I don't quite know if this is cheating because it was just a matter of loading some paper and pressing a button - but it is still the very first shaped card I have made!

I am really happy with how it turned out. I am sure Mum is going to love it - as she has a thing for Owls! In real life the Big Al's eyes aren't so deep green they are actually the same pale green colour as the owl pattern paper. I used my Top Boss pad to watermark the vine stamp on the front as well as on the inside cover.

1061 SB Essentials 12x12 - Straw ???? I think this is the right colour
