SOS - #2 - Oldies but Goodies!

Hello Everybody!

Well this has to be the longest I have ever spent on a card trying to get it just right!  Shopping Our Stash - #2 challenge was to use one of your oldest stamps/digi's on your project.

So I went under my craft desk in search of my wooden stamp drawer unit and way way over the back I found these little beauties......

Being cow mad as I am - when I saw these stamps I just had to have them.  They were the first stamps I ever brought. Mind you I only ended up making a handful of Christmas cards with them as I never liked the way they stamped - I could never get the images to come out clear all over. I just put it down to being "yucky" stamps....... but with some more stamping knowledge under my belt this time, things were a little different.

At the same time I started to think of how I was going to use my Christmas Cow Stamps - The Splitcoast Stampers Weekly Inkling arrived in my inbox with the instructions to a make a Center Step Card. Perfect!
Don't get me wrong I am really happy with the final result of this card - but as for my precious Christma Cow Stamps - I think they can go back to the drawers they were hiding in, as much as I love the cute comical cow thing, its not really my style!

Cheers!

PS - This card brings my 50 Christmas Cards by Dec 1st Challenge with Shirley-Anne up to 35!

  8. LOVING the Christmas Cow! I have a house full of cows (not real ones - hubby won't allow it lol)!

I love what you did with him and I don't think you should put him at the back of your drawer again - ANY cow is a good cow lol!
